This is the definition of the word as described in the dictionary.
But the word means something different to me like this terribly inserted simile.
These first four bars barely rhymed.
Why does this word mean something different to me?
Because of this benign reason.
But I’m saying it like it’s the biggest deal in the world.
There may be a hint of me being on the verge of tears.
Nobody else can understand what this feels like.
My relationship to this word is like another terrible simile and now I’m speaking so fast in stretches of metaphors that appear to be one extended metaphor but really they all just suck as metaphors.
And now I slow it down after speaking so fast.
And bring your attention to my resolve.
My apparent change in character after having a bad experience with this aforementioned word.
Because I know new things now that are better.
Like this word.
And this word.
And this extremely profound.  But.  Un.  Warranted.  Word.
So I will abandon all delusions of grandeur with the first word.
Because I got this new word.
And that’s all I need.
